Delete My Data
Last updated: July 2026
420Club works without accounts — the app uses an anonymous device identity instead. That shapes how deletion works, so here is exactly what happens, step by step.
Reset the app on your device
In the app:
- Open the Settings tab.
- If you enabled push notifications, first switch "Alerts enabled" off in the Notifications card — this stops alert delivery server-side.
- Scroll to About & privacy and tap "Reset app data".
- Confirm Reset in the dialog.
What the reset does: it erases the device's stored identity token, 21+ confirmation, selected areas, and notification-prompt state from your device, and permanently disconnects your device from its watchlist and alert history. The app returns to a brand-new state, and nothing on the device links back to the old records.
What stays on the server — and how to erase it
Honesty matters here: the reset is a disconnect, not a server-side erase. The anonymous records created while you used the app — the device entry, its watch keywords, alert history, notification log, and push token if you enabled notifications — remain on our server, orphaned and no longer connected to your device. They contain no name, email, or account information.
If you want those anonymous server records erased, ask us: send a request through the Support page's data & privacy channel and we will remove them manually. Include the approximate date you used the app and the areas and keywords you had watched — that's how we locate anonymous records, since nothing else identifies them.
Push notifications
Switching "Alerts enabled" off stops alert delivery. Uninstalling the app also invalidates the device's push token. If you reset without doing either, a previously enabled push token could still receive alerts until it naturally expires — that's why the switch comes first in the steps above.
Website request forms
If you submitted an area or store request on the website with an optional email address and want it removed, ask through the Support page and tell us the email you used — we'll delete the request record.
What we never had
There is no account to close and no password to clear. We never stored your date of birth (only a yes/no 21+ confirmation), and the app collects no precise location. See the full Privacy Policy for the complete picture.
