Privacy Policy

420Club Flower Finder is an informational cannabis discovery service for adults 21 and older. This policy explains, in plain English, what information the app and website actually handle. We built the service to work without an account — no name, no password, no profile.

What we collect

In the mobile app

  • An anonymous device identity. When the app first talks to our server it creates a random device record and token. It is not linked to your name, email, or phone number.
  • A 21+ confirmation. You enter your date of birth to confirm you are 21 or older. The date itself is checked and not stored — our server keeps only a yes/no confirmation with a timestamp.
  • Your selected launch areas (Rhode Island, nearby Massachusetts, or both).
  • Your watchlist — the strain, brand, or keyword watches you add, and the alerts they generate.
  • Notification settings — whether alerts are enabled, quiet hours, a daily limit, and your device's timezone offset (used only to respect quiet hours).
  • A push token, only if you enable notifications. Push notifications are delivered through Expo's push service — on iOS through Apple Push Notification service and on Android through Google Firebase Cloud Messaging. The token is stored so we can send your requested alerts. Decline notifications and no push token is stored.

On the website

  • Area and store requests. The request form sends exactly what you type — state or region, and optionally a city, store, keyword, and an email address if you choose to leave one. Every field except state is optional. If you give an email address, we use it only to confirm we received your request and to follow up about coverage; it is never used for marketing.
  • Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure keeps standard technical server logs.

What we don't collect

  • No account data — no names, passwords, or profiles.
  • No precise location. The app contains no GPS or location code. Your area comes only from the launch areas you pick by hand.
  • No stored date of birth — only the 21+ yes/no confirmation.
  • No advertising trackers, behavioural profiling, or crash-tracking services — there is no ad SDK, attribution SDK, advertising identifier, or general-purpose analytics SDK in the app. We use limited service providers, including providers that operate subscriptions and deliver notifications you request; those providers are described below under Service providers.
  • We do not sell personal information.

How information is used

We use app and device information to show store-directory information and cached product sightings for your selected areas and to send the alerts you request. If you subscribe, we also use subscription information to confirm that your 420Club Pro subscription is active so paid features can be unlocked. When you run a search, the words you type are sent to our server to find matching sightings; the 420Club application does not save those searches as a search-history record.

Requests submitted through the website are used to decide which areas and stores to add next, and — if you left an email — to update you about them.

Service providers

Push notifications travel through Expo's push service to reach your device — on iOS via Apple Push Notification service, and on Android via Google Firebase Cloud Messaging. The app communicates with our server at api.420club.com. These providers process delivery data as part of transporting notifications.

Subscriptions. 420Club Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription. The purchase itself is handled entirely by Apple on iOS and by Google Play on Android. 420Club never receives, sees, or stores your payment card details — the app contains no payment fields, and the app stores do not pass card information to us.

We use RevenueCat, Inc. as our subscription-management provider to confirm that a subscription is genuine and currently active. RevenueCat receives your anonymous 420Club device identifier, the store receipt or purchase token for the subscription, basic technical information such as device type and operating system, and the time the app was last used. It uses this information to validate the purchase, prevent fraud, and tell the app whether 420Club Pro should be unlocked, and we see the resulting subscription status in RevenueCat's dashboard. We do not send RevenueCat your name or email address. Payment card details are handled by Apple or Google and are not provided to 420Club or RevenueCat through the app. This information is not used to advertise to you or to track you across other apps or websites, and it is not sold or shared with data brokers. Because the 420Club app has no account system, app activity and subscription status are associated with an anonymous per-install/device identifier rather than a 420Club user profile. Subscribing does not create a 420Club account or give us your name or contact details.

Deleting your data

The app includes a per-device reset, and you can ask us to erase the server-side records connected to your device. The Delete My Data page walks through exactly what the reset does and doesn't remove.

Age restriction

This service is strictly for adults 21 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 21, and the app cannot be used without confirming 21+.

Accuracy of listings

Store and product information is informational only — cached, possibly delayed, incomplete, or incorrect, with clearly labeled sample data during early launch. Nothing in the app is live inventory. Always confirm details directly with the licensed store.

Changes

If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date above changes with it, and material changes will be highlighted in the app or on this site.
