420Club Flower Finder is an informational cannabis discovery service for adults 21 and older. This policy explains, in plain English, what information the app and website actually handle. We built the service to work without an account — no name, no password, no profile.
What we collect
In the mobile app
- An anonymous device identity. When the app first talks to our server it creates a random device record and token. It is not linked to your name, email, or phone number.
- A 21+ confirmation. You enter your date of birth to confirm you are 21 or older. The date itself is checked and not stored — our server keeps only a yes/no confirmation with a timestamp.
- Your selected launch areas (Rhode Island, nearby Massachusetts, or both).
- Your watchlist — the strain, brand, or keyword watches you add, and the alerts they generate.
- Notification settings — whether alerts are enabled, quiet hours, a daily limit, and your device's timezone offset (used only to respect quiet hours).
- A push token, only if you enable notifications. Delivered through Expo's push service and Google Firebase Cloud Messaging, and stored so we can send your alerts. Decline notifications and no token exists.
On the website
- Area and store requests. The request form sends exactly what you type — state or region, and optionally a city, store, keyword, and an email address if you choose to leave one. Every field except state is optional.
- Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure keeps standard technical server logs.
What we don't collect
- No account data — no names, passwords, or profiles.
- No precise location. The app contains no GPS or location code. Your area comes only from the launch areas you pick by hand.
- No stored date of birth — only the 21+ yes/no confirmation.
- No advertising or analytics trackers in the app — no ad SDKs, no third-party analytics, no crash-tracking services.
- We do not sell personal information.
How information is used
Everything above exists for one purpose: showing you store-directory information and cached product sightings for your selected areas, and sending the alerts you asked for. Requests submitted through the website are used to decide which areas and stores to add next, and — if you left an email — to update you about them.
Service providers
Push notifications travel through Expo's push service and Google Firebase Cloud Messaging to reach your device. The app communicates with our server at api.420club.com. These providers process delivery data as part of transporting notifications.
Deleting your data
The app includes a per-device reset, and you can ask us to erase the server-side records connected to your device. The Delete My Data page walks through exactly what the reset does and doesn't remove.
Age restriction
This service is strictly for adults 21 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 21, and the app cannot be used without confirming 21+.
Accuracy of listings
Store and product information is informational only — cached, possibly delayed, incomplete, or incorrect, with clearly labeled sample data during early launch. Nothing in the app is live inventory. Always confirm details directly with the licensed store.
Changes
If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date above changes with it, and material changes will be highlighted in the app or on this site.
